Dr. Liang was awarded $1000 and Lauren was awarded $3000 to continue their water conservation research project over the summer of 2015. The results found from the research conducted over summer have been documented in the form of a journal, which is to be featured during the International Communication Association Conference “Communication with Power” and in the Environmental Communication journal.
Undergraduate Student Scholarly Research/Creative Grant – May 2015

Lauren was awarded a $1000 grant to go towards data collection for the water conservation research project which aims to test water conservation campaign communication strategies for efficacy at increasing pro-environmental behavior and attitudes in California. This award was used to obtain an online sample of 200 California residents.
Undergraduate Faculty Scholarly Research/Creative Grant – April 2015

Dr. Liang and Dr. Kee were awarded a $1000 grant to launch an environmental campaign for water conservation at Chapman University. This campaign will be used to begin to understand social diffusion and underlying mechanisms that drive it.
